Last month, a judge in Turin, Italy acquitted a man of sexual violence charges because the woman he attacked did not scream or yell or act “emotional” while being raped. What she did say was, “enough.”  The survivor was his colleague.  To make matters worse, she is now facing slander changers.

According to the BBC, the female hospital worker said the defendant had forced her into sexual acts and threatened to stop providing her with work if she did not comply.

Due to public outcry, the Italian minister of justice Andrea Orlando requested officials to look into the case.
